Simulations

    No simulation open

A simulation sets up a complete project — customer, suppliers, team, cost sheet, milestones, deliverables — then steps its life forward day by day: timesheets, deliveries, invoices, incidents, month-end closures, EVM. Every entity is tagged to its run, so Reset removes exactly what the run created.

    Flight map

One lane per flight on a shared axis of simulated time. A branch starts at its fork day and hangs from its parent. Diamonds are interventions; the dot is where the flight is now. Click a lane to open it.

    Scenario forecast

How can this project turn out? The forecaster lifts a real project's baseline and current progress, runs hundreds of seeded futures through the simulation planner, and shows the outcome distribution — read-only, nothing is written to the database. Results are scenario arithmetic under the stated assumptions, not predictions.

What-if dials — the baseline (all off) always runs alongside

Scenario dials — what goes wrong during execution
Suppliers (multi-select — supplier POs and invoices land on these)

None selected → vendors are invented (and removed again on Reset).

    Cost sheet (the financial baseline)

An adopted sheet sets the contract value and currency; it is never deleted by Reset.

Delivery team (multi-select existing people; the rest are invented up to team size)

          Generator tools

Direct generators, independent of simulations: build a cost sheet or project skeleton, or bulk-generate/clear timesheets.

          Generate cost sheet

Minimal input — start date + duration. Items, manpower, deliverables, monthly invoices and schedules are filled with meaningful values (~30% margin) and the sheet is finalized (locked) so it can back a project.

          Generate project

Pick a locked cost sheet, then create a project with an auto-assigned team, a customer PO, milestones, deliverables and supplier POs. Selecting a cost sheet pre-fills start date / duration where available.

          Target

          Period

          Generate timesheets

One entry per weekday (Mon–Fri) in the clipped assignment window, hours = hoursPerDay × allocation. Weekends skipped; never past today. Public holidays/leave are not subtracted (v1).

          Final status

          Clear timesheets

Lists all entries for the selected employee/project in the period, reverts non-drafts to Draft, then deletes them. This cannot be undone.
